The basic crafts schools are the professions that could be classed as ‘all rounders’.
They allow a new player to gain knowledge across a wider range of skills than the later prestige (specialist) craft schools allow.
Introduces a player to the wood, stone and metal craft skills. Basic metal and tool production
Technically not classed as a beginning school (classed as prestige but with no requirements). Miners are a specialised profession in mining gems, metal ores and quarrying stone. Miner is not an easy school to level, however the skill gains are the highest for increasing a player’s non-organic resource gathering rates compared to other schools.
Dragons are slightly different than bipeds. The Dragon crafter school is the primary craft school for a Dragon and allows them to learn how to craft all the materials they require (products such as scales, claws, bricks, bars, gems, flying cargo discs).
Introduces a player to cloth and animal hide craft skills. Basic clothing and armor production.
Technically not classed as a beginning school (classed as prestige but with no requirements). Gatherers are a specialised profession in gathering organic products such as plants, fruits, essence and wood. Gatherer is not an easy school to level, however the skill gains are the highest for increasing a player’s organic resource gathering rates compared to other schools.
Introduces a player to stone and spell craft based skills. Scholars are also unique in that they allow special scrolls to be crafted that can be used by other players for an advantage during combat or craft.
Technically classed as a prestige school (however there are no requirements). Jeweler introduces a player to working gems and metals to make special jewelry that can be worn or sold to other players.
